The games

Hold'em, Omaha and Short Deck, one turn at a time

Every game in Async Poker is turn-based: the table waits for each player, and your phone tells you when it's your move. Pick the game and the format, and the host sets the stakes.

No Limit Texas Hold'em

The game everyone knows: two cards each, five on the board, and any bet up to your stack.

Pot Limit Omaha

Four cards each, and you use exactly two of them with three from the board. Bets are capped at the size of the pot, and the hands run bigger.

Short Deck Hold'em

Hold'em with the twos through fives taken out: 36 cards, and bigger hands. A flush beats a full house, and the ace plays low in A-6-7-8-9.

Cash games

Sit down with the buy-in the host sets, add chips when you need to, and cash out when you're done. Every buy-in and cash-out goes in the club ledger.

Sit 'n Go tournaments

Everyone starts with the same stack, the blinds rise as the game goes, and the last player standing wins. The payouts and the blind structure are a tap away at the table.

Questions

How many players can sit at a table?
Up to six, in every game and format.
Can the host change the stakes mid-game?
Yes. The host can change the blinds and buy-ins as the game goes, and every change is written in the hand log.
Is the shuffle fair?
Every hand's deck is committed before the deal, and the hand log carries the commitment, so the shuffle can be checked after the hand.
